Starting prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars and before HST. Final fees depend on the return and your records, and we confirm the fee before we start.
- Personal tax return: basic returns from $69.99 per return. See personal tax.
- Uber and other self-employed returns: from $149.99 per return. See self-employed tax.
- Corporate T2 return: from $250 for a nil return and from $499 for an active corporation, including tax-document preparation, e-filing and guidance on what information to provide; organizing unprepared financial records costs extra and is quoted before starting, per tax year, before HST. A nil return is subject to assessing the corporation’s circumstances. See corporate tax return cost for the full scope. Corporate starting fees cover federal T2 preparation and electronic filing. Bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll filings and the Ontario annual return are excluded and quoted separately in writing. Confirm other filings, including GST/HST or a federal corporate annual return, in your written quote. Having no income alone does not establish eligibility for the nil starting price. See the full corporate fee conditions.

Who we help in Scarborough
Scarborough clients come to us for a mix of personal and business work. We prepare returns for employees, newcomers, students and families, and for Uber, delivery and other gig drivers. We also work with contractors and truckers, landlords with basement or condo rentals, and online sellers on Amazon, Etsy and eBay.
On the business side, we do corporate returns and bookkeeping for small incorporated businesses, including restaurants, retail shops, small grocery stores, cleaning companies, and snow removal and yard-care operators, many of them local shops and services around Markham Road.
We work in English, Urdu and Punjabi, so you can go through your return in the language you are most comfortable in. Walk-ins are welcome, parking is free, and you can talk it through with us in person.

We file around 1,000 returns a year. A simple personal return is usually done in about two days once we have your documents. If you need it sooner, one-day filing can be arranged for personal returns when your information is complete and we agree the date in advance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does tax preparation cost?
Personal returns start from $69.99 and self-employed returns from $149.99, both per return and before HST. Corporate, bookkeeping, payroll and incorporation prices are in the starting prices section above. Final fees depend on the return type and how much work your records need, and we confirm the fee in writing before we start.
Can you file past-year returns or respond to a CRA letter?
Yes. Tell us which years are outstanding and mention the response date on any CRA letter. Bring the records you have so we can review the work required. If slips are missing, we may be able to review information held by the CRA after the required authorization. That information may not include every item needed for your return.
We explain a CRA notice about a return we prepared at no charge. Responses to CRA letters, organizing supporting records, communicating with the CRA and audit assistance are additional paid work. We agree the scope, your authorization and a separate written quote before starting. We do not offer formal Notices of Objection. For several missing corporate years, see our unfiled corporate returns guide.
